Date Added:
The 259th Map of the Week is from the second Jörðgarð (TM) Trails adventure on the Fallen Empire Trail, "Draug Hunters." The map shows a wyvern's cave in its lair in the fallen Æsir Empire.

Key to the Map of the Cave:

1 to 2 and 4 to 5: These are narrow passages where the wavern is at a substantial disadvantage. It cannot turn around, spread its wings or stab with its tail in these areas. If it wants to retreat, it has to walk backwards. The wyvern is aware of these disadvantages and will do its best to avoid being caught in combat in these areas.

3: Dining Area: In this area, the wyvern is at no disadvantage. This is the area where it eats the bag of its hunt. The floor is littered with bones, weapons, shields and armor pieces. Most of it is from orcs, some from animals. The wyvern has not feasted on humans in modern times.

6. Sleeping Area: In this area, the wyvern is at no disadvantage. There is no litter in this area

You can get this map in two versions:

1. The Fractal Mapper (TM) 8 version in FMP format, fully editable (3.1 MB) from the Jörðgarð website.

2. As a JPG flat map of 1360 x 545 Pixels (540 KB), available with the hyperlink below.

Both versions are released for personal and commercial use under the Open Game License Version 1.0a, which you can read on the Jörðgarð website at:
