Description:
It doesn't get more authentic than this! A collection of mapping symbols cropped from actual (scanned) 14th + 15th century maps.
To install (using v2.0 or later of the mapper), simply create a directory called 'ancient' under your 'nbos\mapper32\mapart' directory and unzip these bitmaps into it.
(version 1.0 users should see the help file for info on how to add these symbols).
NBOS thanks The National and University Library of Iceland (kort.bok.hi.is/kort/english.html) for their excellent map collection from which the symbols in this collection are derived.
