That all should be possible - it'll let you set each layer's attributes,
and you can set each object's layers.

You can remove the full set - you dont have to edit the xml file ;-) Just
select each symbol in the set one by one and click the 'remove'
button. This will leave an empty random set. But, it wont get saved
since there's no symbols in it, so the next time you run FM it wont be there.
