Thanks for the info. Here's another question however. I understand
your explanation about the 'On demand' nature of the .planetview files, BUT
if the application calls a routine that wraps the surface map around a
sphere, slaps a starfield behind it and saves it to a file.... then that is
exactly what I need... I just need access to it from the Alien API. How
possible is it to get access to that function?
