I am not sure what you would make of it...
Currently, it reads a CSV "spreadsheet" called
hygfull.csv that I downloaded from David Nash's
Astronomy Nexus http://www.astronexus.com/node/34

The app then creates a window, and spins a
starfield in 3D, with stars colored by spectra.

There's no interface or controls, other than
hacking the Java itself... it's just an app/applet
that can run from a box or in a webpage and gives
you a 3D rotating starfield. Currently, the
star system Zeta II Reticuli is highlighted.

If that sounds useful to people, then I would be
happy to get it into some sort of shareable shape
and post it for download, probably in the same
place as the BigBang scripts.

While we're at it, we might want to get involved
with the Traveller 2320A.D. team to see how the
new starmap is going?
