Re: [nbos] [AS] Fine control on random system generation?

If anyone's got the book "BANG" by Patrick Moore, Chris Lintott & Brian
May, they will find some more info on this aspect. From recent reading,
borne out by this article, I suspect there may be more habitable planets
that originally anticipated. "BANG" is a good read, by the way.

In any case, I agree a user-determined capability would be great for AS
when it can be incorporated. Presumably a script wouldn't do the job?

Cheers,

Mike

A little scientific new information (as in 7 sept 06) That I thought
might be interesting.

http://www.colorado.edu/news/releases/2006/280.html

That was linked from NASA's planet search site. Potentially
habitable/hospitable planets may be alot more common than we thought.
I just ran across this article and thought it was appropriate to the
discussion, and for future additions of AS (however near or far they
may be.)
