I have found confirmation that CoD is the Cordoba Observatory catalogue
and can be abbreviated both ways. The problem is finding the correct way
to enter them into the CdC search facility.

CdC is a great programme. If you're interested, it's a free download at:
http://www.stargazing.net/astropc/download.html. Read the instructions
carefully, especially if you load additional catalogues.

Off the top of my head those should be CD-68 47 and BD+01 2447, I say
that because they keep coming up in my maps that I've been working on
the past couple of months. I even think both of those are inhabited in
my setting. I'm not familiar with CdC so I don't think I can help
finding them there.
