Off the top of my head those should be CD-68 47 and BD+01 2447, I say that because they keep coming up in my maps that I've been working on the past couple of months. I even think both of those are inhabited in my setting. I'm not familiar with CdC so I don't think I can help finding them there.

Thanks, Dan.

I’m making some progress with the near stars job but it’s slow work. I can locate and identify the HD (Henry Draper) and HIP (Hipparcos) catalogue references without too much difficulty in Cartes du Ciel but there are some catalogue references which I can’t fathom (e.g. CoD C-68 47 and BD B+01 2447) where I think I have identified the BD catalogue used but can not work out how to enter the references into my search facility on CdC. I suspect CoD may be the Cordoba Observatories catalogue but this is usually abbreviated CD rather than CoD.

If the originator of the Kepner files is out there, perhaps he can contact me to confirm or correct my assumptions.

Cheers,

Mike

It is the latest version. Just remember to save your sector before running the script.

I'll try to remember to send my data files to you, Mike this evening.

Dan.

You can download a beta version from my website:

I donʼt know whether this is the latest or if it works flawlessly but it is there for you to collect.

Cheers,

I am working on a fictional project and I was interested in whatever happened to the "fastbang" system generation script? and where can I download it or something similar.
