To Quote Ed who posted to this forum in response to all this when I asked
for the documentation:
" Hi Rob,
The API is online at:
This is the Astro v2 API, but its about 95% compatible with v3. If there's
anything relating to some of the newer features you dont see, just send me
If you had read through the email on the list you'd have gotten this others
did so it definantly went to the list. The core API documentation hasn't
been updated because by and large Ed is saying it hasn't changed since 2006.
And where it has if you run itno problems send him a mail simple as that.
The Nox version yeah ok it don't work at present I'll give that.

Regret to inform you that the online version is at:
http://www.nbos.com/support/docs/AlienAPI/ and still seems to be working,
but the last update was
7/25/06 according to the change log.
The "AlienAPI Documentation" file in the files section still seems to be
http://www.nbos.com/nox/index.php?action=1001&id=63 The downloaded part
http://www.nbos.com/nox/download.php?id=63 still seems to be broken.
