'create a colorgroup object to use to tell the FWE engine what color settings we'll want
'and tell astro to derive a default set of colors
'these colors, of course, could be altered via the script as well
fc = DefaultAstroColorGroup()
DerivePlanetColors aBody, fc

Is there a way to define custom color groups, manually and/or via script? I realize I can edit surface map manually, but I'd like to use the Complete Surface Map Generator script
btw: GenerateFWESurfaceMap( secSector, chiChild, true, fc), saves the surface map to the image, but clicking on a planet after generation threw up a bunch of access violations and locked up AS3. Reopening, everything was ok.

Still would like some sort of batch export process for surface maps (color and bitmap)

I haven't found reference to anything other than the defaultcolorgroup, and in browsing the database of an old AS2 import, I've noticed that I have a number of them set (under "fwe_color_group") which reference body ids, but in the body table, the "fwe color group" references are all 0. ? The integer values for the colors- how are they translated to/from RGB?
