Re: [nbos] [FM] Copying between Maps

Not quite, but I worked out how to do what I needed. Select <File> <Create
Submap> and then select the layer(s) and object types that you want
transferred to the submap. Since my original map and second map were
identical but my second map did not incorporate a new layer I put on to my
original map, it worked perfectly.

Effectively, it created a new second map but with the additional layer
included.

I imagine your suggestion would probably have done the trick as well but the
way I worked out did provide the answer. Thanks for the assistance.

Cheers,

Mike

When I've done this in the past, I've made only the one layer selectable,
selected everything on the map, and copied it. Is that what you're looking
for?

I would like to copy the contents of a layer in one map to a layer in a
different map. I've looked through the Help files but can't find a way to do
this - I'm sure it's simplicity itself but I'm stuck. Can anyone help?

Cheers,
