You need more than RA/Dec; you also need the parallax - or, some other way
to get the distance from Sol. Then, with RA, Dec and the Distance (R), you
can derive X, Y and Z.

The formulas are;

X = R cos(Dec) cos(RA)
Y = R cos(Dec) sin(RA)
Z = R sin(Dec)

Now, remember, if you use Excel for these conversions, you have to convert
the angles to degrees. Excel's trig functions are based on Radians.
