Huh? I'm not familiar with the KF drive. Mine work by hand waving. The GM says "you jump" and hopefully does not follow up with "into a star." Actually I normally require the players make it to the .0001 G gradient, again, due to the influence of 2300AD to jump. But typically the closest star is the determining factor of where the jump point is.
