Re: [nbos] [AS] Web Integration?

No offense taken! Sorry if I came across gruff. Anyways, Let me work on
that translation :)

All I was saying is the AS2.0 is a single user application. Its designed
for Windows and Windows only. Its not a multi-user application, nor does it
have any web functionality built in to it. Its a very well done data
generation, management, and visualization application.

The only way I have figured out how to have a multi-user AS2.0 accessable
via a web browser is to code one yourself using Java, Java's Webstart
technology, and one of the many Java based 3D engines. Java Monkey Engine
(jME) is my personal favorite Java 3D engine.

In order to make AS2.0 useful in the game creation process is to use the
data that it generates. Now, someone could easily use the XML export
function and make a way to import the XML data into what ever game they are
making. I chose to use the .sector file directly, which involved reverse
engineering the file format.

I think thats closer to plain english. If not, do ask questions :)
