Fine and good, so far as it goes. But then when you calculate the orbital mechanics of a given star's child bodies, you have to take those other stellar gravity wells into account. Orbits will be dragged "off course" by the other stellar body. As I understand it, it increases the complexity of the orbital mechanics by *at least* an order of magnitude.

In case this is unclear, yes I realize the equation could be written in anyway, complex or not. But because the display refers back to that continuously updated equation against real time running, if the equation is more complex by an order of magnitude, that translates to the speed of the display refresh slowing *by an order of magnitude.*

Okay Ed, step in here, did I get that right? :))
