How much of a hurry are you? :) I could write the perl script - or actually very quickly modify one that I've already written to read your file and export it to astrosythesis .CSV format. I say hurry, because while it will probably only take me an hour or two to do, I am notoriously bad about actually getting around to it. But if you want to play the lottery, send me the file and some explanation, off list, and I might send you something back in time for it to be useful.

Or not. :)

You had me right up until you mentioned "Perl script" and then you lost me! I'm afraid my IT knowledge extends only as far as an enthusiastic amateur (or at work "begrudging IT monkey" )

The way I've done things like this in the past was to export from CHView to a CSV file, write a perl script to convert the file into a format that AS can import and import into a blank sector.

I recall a few months ago talk of a way to convert CHview files into to use with Astrosynthesis. I've a whopper of a file I put a lot of work into many moons ago and would love to be able to transfer all that hard work into a an Astrosynthesis file.

Is such a thing possible? Can it also transfer any details in notes from CHview to AS as well?
