That looks really good. I downloaded Flux Player without any problems
and everything looks fine. Next job is to try my hand with Gimp.

Cheers,

That(minus the header and footer) is the simple html that my script is
exporting now. You'll need an x3d player to view it though. I use Flux
player, but there are a few different ones out there depending on your
OS & Browser

Name
Population
{rotating textured globe}

I'll be adding more of the planets data as I clean up the formating etc.
Basically I want it to look like a planet entry in the Generate Sector
Report html but with a spinning globe instead of the flat texture.

I have alot of cleanup work to do on this. I'm combining the two
requests into one. Since this one has to export the textures as it
creates the globes

Yes, yes, yes please - it sounds excellent - and you actually enjoy
doing these things?

I've looked into this before and it doesn't seem possible

How about a script that exports the surface maps and creates an x3d file
of a lighted 3d rotating globe using that texture. You could embed them
in a webpage pretty easy.

I've allready got the export testure half done....just recently... ;)

I would like a script that can export / create (en masse) the
.planetview.png files :)

I would like a script that goes through all the systems in the as2 file

or something else) and a predifined output name mask (ie
system1.planet1.moon1 etc).
I can then use my gimp scripts to open each file in turn, and produce
various scales and icons. From that, my html templates can put the
whole thing into a preset format.

:)
