Well this is done (other than the size issue) The script doesn't seem to be letting go of the resource after it exports it on my laptop. Works ok on my work computer. I want to make sure it's not something stupid i'm doing that is doing that and clean it up a bit before I shoot it your way. If you even want it without the resizing working... Maybe NBOS can shed some light on creating surface maps larger when generated in the meantime. The naming convention only works so many levels down it will correctly namea moonorbiting a planetthat is part of a planetary systemorbiting a starthat is part of a multiple star system. multi, star, psystem, planet, moon.png(Adnius,Adnius,Adnius III,AdniusIII A,Adnius III A.1.png)It will basically follow up the chain three levels and then add the rootbody name. so if you put a space station orbiting the moon you'll get multi, psystem, planet, moon, station.png It will drop the star since it is 4 levels up. My brain broke after 3 levels and I quit. > From: dcalford-at-distributel.ca> To: nbossoftware-at-nbos.com> Date: Thu, 29 Nov 2007 21:52:01 -0500> Subject: Re: [nbos] [AS] Scripting: What would you like to see?> > If your script can ask for a delimeter, then we can make something more> universal than just for my specific task.> > I thought that there was a setting for the surface maps - been awhile> since I looked since I have been very busy on a fantasy setting.> > If you think that a home printer uses 300 dpi, the default graphic is> smaller than a 2 inch square, when you may want to have a full page map,> with legend and perhaps overland movement grid/themed display graphic.> You would end up with the need for a graphic in the 4-5 inch to a side> range (1200 pixels or more to a side).> > If the program can generate a single large size, I can use scripts in> GIMP to then create various smaller sized images, add layers, create> rotating gifs etc. I can even take the various images, made into> rotating speres and make a system map..... > > It is easy to manipulate to get smaller/lower resolution images but it> is very hard to make a image look good when it is blown up 4-5 hundred> percent.> > I think many would love this feature, not just myself.> > best regards> > Dalton> > > > On Thu, 2007-11-29 at 19:54 -0600, Shade Tree wrote:> > Working on this.> > couple of Issues> > > > 1.
