Thanks for that, Heather - I suspect you're right. It's a bit like
"pay-per-view" TV. The programmes on TV are so poor (yours are worse
than ours) that I will not pay extra money to see additional rubbish.

Basically they appear to be basing it off of the same engine as the
Neverwinter Nights role playing games, and charging a monthly fee to
use it like the World of Warcraft style games. Which means screen
monkey is not as threatened as it might seem. Besides those engines
don't really seem conducive to actual useable maps, especially if your
gaming group's staple is the roleplay aspect rather than the 'ooh
shiney miniature'
